I purchased these boots on my phone, where the labeling on them was far too small to make out. To say that I was shocked when they arrived sporting "KKK" all over them would be an understatement. It is on the tongue, the side, the sole, and the insole. And it comes with a big tag that says "KKK Original."Those in the United States should be familiar with the fact that "KKK" stands for Ku Klux Klan, an organization of violent white supremacists that have terrorized black people in our country for over a century. And while racism may still be alive and well, it is not alive and well in anyone claiming any shred of morality. No one here should be okay with walking around in these boots unless they have firmly planted themselves on the wrong side of history.Now, I realize this may be a thing lost in cultural translation. (The boots have "USA" imprinted on the back, but I do not believe they originate from here.) "KKK" is not going to have the same connotation elsewhere as it does here. However, when you have a customer in the United States who has mistakenly purchased these things, it should not be this difficult to get a refund.At first I tried to be polite and state I didn't need them anymore. When asked why, I told them about the "KKK" emblazoned all over the product. They said they couldn't be returned for that reason.I thought, okay, well, I can try to salvage this purchase by changing the boots by hand to show a different message. I mean, "**** the KKK" would personally work for me, in case it wasn't super clear where I stood on the subject.And so I tried them on for the first time...and they didn't fit. So I tried to return them again. Again, it was not allowed.I contacted Amazon. The Amazon customer service rep also was not familiar with the connotation of "KKK" in the United States. They attempted to get the seller to allow me to return the boots. The seller is now stating that shipping would be too expensive and that they want to offer me a 15% refund.I would prefer to destroy the boots (or deface/fix them for use by someone who they actually fit), let them keep their money, and post a negative review of this absurd experience.Hey Amazon? These shouldn't be sold in the United States of America.

These boots are excellent quality and workmanship! Actually, "These boots are meant for WALKING, hiking, exercise/workouts! Great all-around! Glad I bought them! Super priced! Thanks!

The look good enough and are reasonable comfortable. But unless you have them tied very loosely, the zipper does not allow easy/fast on and off which is one of the reasons to buy a boot with a side zipper! Will probably wear thes a lot less than I would otherwise. Glad they were cheap!

The zipper catches the material no matter how careful you are and breaks very easily.....i only had these for three weeks and both zippers are broken. These boots are useless pathetic garbage that should ve discontinued for being an insult to the 5:11 brand

I was very iffy because these were such a low price, but they have lasted me months with no real issue. They’re pretty durable, and are exactly as stated.

Wasn’t what I expected plus the sizing was wrong I’m 8 1/2’s and the ones came must be 9 1/2
