Bought this band in “champagne” which is a subtle gold. It looks great with my skin tone, which is light-medium tan. I’ve only had this for about a week, so only time will tell how it holds up, but so far so good! The color has not shown any signs of chipping or rubbing off.The texture is a metal mesh. It is lightweight and breathable, which is a huge plus during workouts. The magnet is strong but easily adjustable by either sliding it while it’s stuck on the band or pulling it off. I prefer sliding to allow small adjustments.The only gripe I have about this band really has nothing to do with the band. Fitbit has designed its bands to be changeable and that’s a wonderful thing, however, it can be difficult to attach new bands due to having to push the pins precisely into the tiny precut indentions. Good thing this band comes with 3 pins and I just happen to have a few spares, because I lost about 3-4 while trying to push them in. It would get pushed in, but spring out like a rocket after testing their hold. So, just be careful putting the pins in. It’s doable, just difficult.

This is the band of all bands. I love the way it fits and is easily adjustable. My only concern is that I'd like to use it while exercising but don't want to get it sweaty (wet), otherwise this band is the best

The band look pretty with the rose gold face. It was easy to install.
