Hodge Silk Tenor Saxophone Swab, Green

This swab is as fine as any of the silk cloth variety that I've used, and I find it convenient to have a color choice when playing heavily and using more than one swab. Lately I have been using the expanding chamois style swab - (also available from Amazon; see BG tenor swab) - and I was surprised to find that after running the Hodge swab through the instrument, the chamois swab came up dry! Plus, the Hodge swab has the tear drop shaped weight, which allows you to quickly run the swab through the whole instrument, including the neck. This is always convenient and especially so when you need to pack up and leave somewhere quickly.

Tenor Saxophone Swab made of silk fabric! What was I thinking! NOT RECOMMEND this swab. A proper swab should be made of flannel to absorb properly the moister in the tube. This is so thin that I need to pass it 3 times to clean the sax. I'll buy a separate flannel cloth and stitch it to the line.
