Clear and useful.

Just a Hint. I Bought this book in a rush last January. Opened it up Sept 10. It appears to be a well written book, if you intend to move to England. The little icon on the cover indicates it is the UK Edition and is based on british tax law. I some how missed it with my small screen, internet surfing mentality.

In error I ordered the Canadian version...

Beware -- this is a UK edition, not for US.

This book is a great resource for any law library. It makes a usually difficult subject easy to understand.Sonya Armfield

You should not still be selling a version printed in 2008. The law has changed caonsiderably in this time.

A must read book. I am an estate planner and I have been advised to read this book to understand the very basics of estate planning by my colleague. I can see now why he told me this is the best book as it gives you the core understand of estate planning. If you are an individual who is looking to write your first Will it's also a very good option to know the basics before you proceed. Thanks for the book Julian. Well done!

Easy to read and understand. It shows you the pitfalls when wills are not done. Its really put life in prospective and makes you think. Always leave a will to your love ones and avoid family issues when your gone.

Good book for basic straight forward advice but it's based on 2010 tax year so some figures are out of date. It's easy to find the new figures online but be aware! Gives good advice on how to write a will, how to navigate through probate if you are an executor and inheritance tax rules - these are the most out of date. Would suggest anyone buys a more up to date book than this.

Good book, well written, easy and light to read, which is great, especially given the sensitive topic. Very practical and am confident following the guidance in this book. Make sure you get the most up to date edition as I did as things do change over the years.
