My new road bike lives in the spare room because my garage is full of, ah, bikes. Being quite a small room with a desk and sofa bed in it already (plus an artificial Christmas tree and what I thought was a surf board but is apparently an "ironing board"), this meant that anyone crashing in the spare room for the night was nose to nose with the chain ring of my beloved. That's not ideal. They might knock it over in the night, for a start. So I bought this and put it up on the wall in 20 minutes (including the measure twice, drill once). The bracket comes in a box worthy of Apple and feels substantial. Much will depend on how well you mount it to the wall, of course but if, like me, you mount it as if your beloved's life depends on it, you'll be fine. Now my bike takes up less than half its previous land mass and my friends (I have a few left) can kip over at my place without the need to build a barrier betwixt bike and buddy.If I'm being picky, pre-drilled holes for the lower wheel's pad would have been appreciated, although it does come with sticky pads if you're slapdash.For sale: One ironing board. Never used.

Great product, suspends the bike perfectly - completely secure and has freed up a lot of floor space for us. Easy to install and use too.

Smart and sturdy design. Holds my bike nicely. Can't help but think a simple hook would have worked just a well for a lot less ££. However it wouldn't have looked as good!
