Excellent for the Money, Meets Expectations, One Minor Flaw
This mic pair is exceptional for the money. It's a no-frills, plug-and-play type system, and it does that very, very well. The overall response is pretty normal for a wireless microphone in this price range: not stellar, and requires more EQ than better mics to dial in a good, flat response. However, considering that you get two and a receiver for the price is excellent. Also, the include unbalanced cable is of good quality and appropriate length.Only one minor flaw keeps me from giving this 5 stars, however. The volume output of this device is surprisingly low. Each channel has an individual volume level control on the receiver, but in order to avoid unnecessarily high gain levels on my mixer, I had to turn the unit volumes all the way up. I did that to avoid feedback by over-gaining the mic signal. The trade-off: there is a tiny bit of extra distortion though the channels with the volumes turned all the way up. On a related note, you will NEED a decent preamp in your mixer to make the most of these. The Wireless range is great. It operates easily in large rooms with clear line-of-sight. Where range runs into trouble is with sturdy walls. That being said, I can't really think of an application where you'll be putting a solid wall between you and the receiver, so I don't see that being a problem.I'm not a huge fan of the unbalanced outs for the receiver. This isn't a problem if you intend on keeping the unit close to your Amp/Mixer (like I do), but if you need the receiver to be far away from your amp, you'll have to get some really good cable. Finally, keep in mind that this order does not include batteries, so have some on hand if you need this working as soon as you get it. If battery life proves to be exceptional, I may raise my rating of this product.

Why Pay more for a brand name? GTD is a real sleeper.
This wireless mic setup far exceeded my expectations. I tried to find info on the manufacturer but they don't seem to have any kind of brand reputation at all, except for all the very positive reviews of their products. They seem to have good quality control just based on the reviews. The sound quality is really good. I turn the bass on my mixer all the way down and stay within a couple inches of the mic and it has a nice natural sound to it. If you're considering the similar item from Pyle go with this one since I have the Pyle PDWM2500 and this GTD unit is way better.Update>>>> Battery life seems pretty good. Since it is VHF it is prone to interference near other electronics or shiny flat surfaces (like a large LCD TV). Standing between the mic and the receiver can exacerbate the problem. Line of sight operation seems pretty free and clear of interference.

Pretty good sound for the price.
To be honest, I expected less for the price & was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for good enough & got more than I expected.

Good product
GTD Audio V-28H VHF Wireless Microphone System with 2 Hand held mics This is my second time ordering this product. It is very good for the price. The quality of the sound is good as we used it many times already and many were impressed with it. I did not purchase other mics to compare but like I said it works, especially for the intended purpose. We use it for conferences. The only thing is that yo will need to purchase an extra cable for the second mic to be connected to the main system. The cables cost about $10 elsewhere so it is not a bad deal.

These really are not to bad.
Well I've had them only for over a month now, and I have to say I am pretty impressed by them. I was very skeptical of them and the price and I said "Hey let me give it a try and if they are not great, I can send them back with Amazon's wonderful return policy." I still am a little skeptical because they haven't done anything bad yet and I feel like how could I spend only $60 something on a microphone set and get good quality. I will be updating this if anything changes. I have hooked up a second microphone next to it (Shure SM58) and they sound Identical and I mean identical. The SM58 actually cuts out often and the GTD does not. I hope they hold out because I like them.

Excellent Mics for the Price
I've had these now for about one month. I am 100% pleased. I use these in my home and in a live show at a bar. I've walked around the bar roughly 50 feet from the receiver and the mic has never dropped out. The sound is excellent. The weight and feel of these is excellent. They feel like high quality and have a good balance. Other singers have commented how much they like these mics. As far as battery life, I have operated these over 12 hours and I'm still running the original (namebrand) batteries that I installed a month ago.Update October 2019: I ended up buying 2 sets of these and they are still going strong after weekly shows for almost 3 years. These are great mics for the price.

It works wonderfully. The capability to output either microphone separately via their respective 1/4" jacks or to have a mixed (combined) output via one 1/4" jack is very helpful. I've used this in a classroom setting without a problem. I recommend getting microphone windscreens for the best performance. It's quite sensitive to picking up the pops and hisses. The low frequency is not a problem. Mid-to-high 200Hz is meant for aeronautical radio-navigation; chances are, you don't live near an airport, and even if you do, your microphone's transmitter are too weak to interfere with any plane in the air or any aeronautical navigation equipment on the ground. So why worry? On the other hand, if your receiver is picking up pilot chatter.......

The V-28H is a great system. You can't get these mics to do that feedback squeal even if you aim the mic right at the loudspeaker. It's like there's some kind of anti-feedback system built in ! The distance from which these mics can send to the receiver is enormous. Perhaps greater than 200 feet. The frequencies are fixed and the display permanently tells the two frequencies in use. So all you get is two volume nobs, which is great. Simple wireless mics cannot get much better. Also, consider the V-28HL or V-28L for hands-free mics for presentations or anything where you need to use your hands while talking.
